三. 传统蓝牙技术提供软件更新到Bluetooth 4.0申请FCC认证:
如果厂商在传统蓝牙技术基础上升级软件成为Bluetooth 4.0的话,产品是否需要重新申请FCC认证还是可以在原来基础上报备呢?厂商比较关注的传统蓝牙软件升级到Bluetooth 4.0技术申请FCC认证主要有以下两种情况:
(1)如果仅仅是从传统蓝牙技术(小于Bluetooth 3.0,FCC认证设备等级为DSS)升级到Bluetooth 4.0(FCC认证设备等级为DTS)的话,需要重新申请FCC ID;
(2)如果产品是传统蓝牙技术和Bluetooth 4.0双模技术的话,传统蓝牙技术升级到Bluetooth 4.0的话,只需要申请FCC C2PC(Class II Permissive Change)即可;
